Emission, Outlaws & Bounty Vaults

The emission curve, production cost, and the jackpot systems.

Emission curve

emission = 20 LOOT ร— s/(s + 2 ETH) ร— H/(H + totalMinted)
s = round's net ETH   ยท   H = 1,000,000 LOOT

Shallow rounds mint dust; deep rounds approach 20 LOOT. The last term is a continuous halving: emission decays smoothly as lifetime supply grows. Hard cap: 5,000,000 LOOT, and the game is the only mint.

The contract tracks productionCostEmaโ€” the moving average of protocol fees paid per LOOT minted. That's the mining-cost anchor shown at the Fair.

Outlaw Rounds (~1 in 25)

Unannounced, roughly one round in twenty-five goes outlaw: one winner, drawn by lot weighted by ETH staked on the winning square, rides off with 2/3 of the round's LOOT alone. The rest splits normally.

Bounty Vaults (the Bonanza)

VaultOdds / roundFunding share
Traveler's Purse1 in 9020%
Merchant's Strongbox1 in 24020%
King's Treasure1 in 62530%
Crown Jewels1 in 150030%

Each vault holds LOOT + ETH, fed every round by 1/5 of the emission and 20% of the toll. Each rolls independent dice every round; an unhit vault keeps compounding. When one bursts, that round's winners share the entire hoard.
