The King's Ransom

The outlaws' lottery. Every ticket burns LOOT forever — the pot grows meaner by the epoch.

How it works
I
Earn your seat

A ticket costs 1 LOOT + 0.002 ETH + 5 feathers. Feathers only come from playing rounds — money alone can't buy in.

II
The LOOT burns

Every ticket's LOOT is destroyed on the spot. The lottery is the protocol's biggest deflation engine — the more people play it, the rarer LOOT gets.

III
Three names are drawn

Every 24 hours, a public drand beacon draws ten winners weighted by tickets — nobody can pick or fake the result. They split the ETH pot on a decaying curve (30% down to 4%). No tickets? The ransom rolls forward.

The feather economy

Feathers are earned, never bought: one per round played, multiplied by your consecutive-round streak (up to 30×). They're stake-size independent — a small player who shows up every round out-feathers a whale who doesn't. Staking rewards also grant feathers when claimed.

That makes the Ransom the fairest table in the forest: your odds scale with tickets, but your access scales with loyalty. Full math in the docs.
